Brooklyn Art Space offers internships to undergraduate students, graduate students and recent graduates. BAS is currently accepting applications.
All interns are expected to commit 10-15 hours per week for 3-4 months. During this time, interns work with BAS staff on a variety of projects in the office, as well as an independently-driven project tailored to the intern's skills and interests.
Interns are compensated for their time with a membership to the Open Studio. Interns receive full Open Studio benefits, including complimentary figure drawing and discounted workshops.
Currently BAS has four available studio internship positions. Two additional high school internships are available by semester. Apply online or in person. Only serious applications please. If an intern is late three times they will be asked to leave.
